Okay you have decided to try the shirtless lifestyle, now you are faced with the question, that is applicable to the novice. "Where should I go?" I can tell you that there will be many doubts, such as; "How people will react to my presence without a shirt?" or "Will I be admitted everywhere?" Out of experience I can tell you that reactions vary from indifference to anger, while a small but significant group will give support and admire your self confidence. You will be able to go to many places, but not to all of them.
The best advice I can give is: feel free to experiment and come to your own conclusions, - that's really worthwhile! Furthermore, every guy going bare chest has different limits and preferences, which differ a lot form person to person.
Okay lets look at what the "experts" say about going shirtless. There are 3 main levels of the shirtless lifestyle; (When I say experts, I not implying old men in white coats, I implying the guys out there that live the lifestyle to the fullest.)
1st (Basic); here is your average guy who appears shirtless only at home or in places where he´s know he does not have to wear a shirt. Thhis is places like beaches, pool areas and clubs.
2nd (Intermediary): besides the places I mentioned above, the intermediate guy may be seen at places, where he's most likely to be accepted with no shirt, such as; his yard, in the streets (eg: when jogging), stadiums and parks. Along with this level, most guys do have a "safty shirt" hanging on his waist or in a backpack.
3rd (advanced): This is the barechester that goes virtually everywhere with no shirt on, and may spend days shirtless and enjoying being so. He attends places where he's not supposed to go without a shirt; eg. stores, supermarkets, malls, even public transports, cinemas and classrooms. His self-confidence leads him to be usually successful, but, if he´s told to leave, goes with no arguments, and in the future, avoids the places where he wasn´t welcome in his "preferred"attire. Other characteristic is the absence of the "safety shirt", which means an "all or nothing" attitude; Either he is accepted shirtless or he will have to leave, since he won´t have a shirt to put on, if requested to do so.
Every guy going bare chest may fall under one of these levels, of course guys do become gradually more self-confident and extends his shirtless activities, jumping to an upper level. So as to encourage you, here are some true shirtless experiences of guys going shirtless from all over the world, some have personally been taken by me, and others from the best forums about the shirtless lifestyle on the web.
Enjoy guys!
